The homeopath is central character in the story'' The Snake and The Mirror''.He is unmarried and is a doctor.He was a great admirer of beauty and he believes in making himself look handsome.He has the habit of looking at the mirror and taking earth shaking decisions. he decides to shave every day,keep a thin moustache and maintain a sweet smile over his lips.All these are sincere efforts to make himself more handsome.he is so practical and wants to marry a rich doctor. He wants her to be fat. Therefore he can runaway after committing mistakes.The sight of the snake had made him terror stricken.He mentions himself as a stone ' stone image in the flesh ' .He is a believer of God and when everything is against ,he prays for the back up of the God.
