ജൂൺ 5 - ലോക പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനം

പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷണത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം ജനമനസ്സുകളിൽ ഉറപ്പിക്കാനായി ഒരു പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനം കൂടി വന്നെത്തി.1972-ലാണ് യു.എൻ ജനറൽ അസംബ്ലി ജൂൺ 5 ലോക പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്.ആദ്യ പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിന ആഘോഷം 1973 ലാണ് നടന്നത്.ആ വർഷത്തെ മുദ്രാവാക്യം " ഒരു ഭൂമി മാത്രം" എന്നതായിരുന്നു.തുടർന്നുള്ള ഓരോ വർഷവും പരിസ്ഥിതിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഓരോ തീമിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി ലോകമെമ്പാടും വിവിധ പരിപാടികൾ നടത്തി വരുന്നു.യു.എൻ പരിസ്ഥിതി വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ ആഹ്വാന പ്രകാരം ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുളള സ്കൂളുകളും, കോളേജുകളും , വിവിധ സംഘടനകളും വൃക്ഷതൈകൾ നട്ടും, സെമിനാറുകളും-ചർച്ചകളും നടത്തിയും ലോകപരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനം ആഘോഷിച്ചു വരുന്നു.

#BeatPlasticPollution എന്ന ഹാഷ്ടാഗും മുദ്രാവാക്യവും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മലിനീകരണത്തിനുള്ള പരിഹാരങ്ങളിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുന്ന ലോക പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനത്തിന്റെ സുവർണജൂബിലി വർഷമാണിത്.2023 ലെ തീം" പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മലിനീകരണത്തിനുള്ള പരിഹാരം" എന്നതാണ്. ഈ വർഷം പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനത്തിലെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ആഘോഷം നടക്കുന്ന രാജ്യം കോറ്റ് ഡി ഐവയർ ആണ്.2014 മുതൽ ഈ രാജ്യം പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് ബാഗുകളുടെ ഉപയോഗം നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.ഐവറി കോസ്റ്റിലെ പ്രധാന നഗരമായ അബിജാൻ  പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മലിനീകരണത്തെ മറികടക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന സ്റ്റാർട്ടപ്പുകളുടെ കേന്ദ്രമായും മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മൂലമുള്ള പരിസ്ഥിതി മലിനീകരണം ഭീതിജനകമാണ്.ലോകത്ത് ഓരോ വർഷവും ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് 430 ദശലക്ഷത്തിലധികമാണ്.അതിൽ പകുതിയിലധികവും ഒറ്റ പ്രാവശ്യ ഉപയോഗത്തിനായി ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടവയാണ്.റീ സൈക്കിൾ ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്കിന്റെ അളവ് പത്ത് ശതമാനത്തിന് താഴെയാണ്.ജലാശയങ്ങൾ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ വലിച്ചെറിയാനുള്ള ഒരിടമാണെന്ന തോന്നൽ മാറണം.ഓരോ വർഷവും 19  മുതൽ 23 ദശലക്ഷം ടൺ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ ജലാശയങ്ങളിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരുന്നു.ഇതുമൂലമുള്ള പാരിസ്ഥിതിക പ്രത്യാഘാതങ്ങൾ നിരവധിയാണ്. 

പരിസ്ഥിതിയെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള കടമ ഓരോ പൗരനും ഉണ്ടെന്നുള്ള കാര്യം ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭരണഘടനയിലെ ആർട്ടിക്കിൾ 48 A ,51A(g)വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.പരിസ്ഥിതിയെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള ഓരോ യത്നത്തിലും നാമോരോരുത്തർക്കും പങ്കാളിയാകാം.

 തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഒന്നു മുതൽ പത്തു വരെയുള്ള ക്ലാസുകൾക്കു മധ്യവേനലവധി ഇനി ഏപ്രിൽ 6 മുതലായി രിക്കുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി വി.ശിവൻകുട്ടി അറിയിച്ചു.നിലവിൽ വാർഷിക പരീക്ഷ കഴിഞ്ഞു മാർച്ച് 31ന് ആണു സ്കൂൾ അടയ്ക്കുന്നത്.അടുത്ത വർഷം ഇത് ഏപ്രിൽ 5 നാണ്.പഠന ദിവസങ്ങൾ 210 ദിവസം ആക്കി ഉയർത്തുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടിയാണ് 2 മാസം നീളുന്ന മധ്യവേനൽ അവധിയിലെ ആദ്യ ആഴ്ചകൂടി പ്രവൃത്തി ദിവസം ആക്കുന്നത്.ഇതോടെ മധ്യവേനലവധി 7 ആഴ്ചയായി ചുരുങ്ങും.ഹയർ സെക്കൻഡറി,വി.എച്ച്.എസ്.സി എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് ഇത് ബാധകമല്ല.

Some Personalities would never fade away from the mind of people by virtue and glittering contributions after they pegged out.Ram Mohan Roy is a person like that.He led Indians from darkness to light when India was under the colonial rule.Being a member of orthdox Hindu family, he adhered to progressive outlook.He made a lot of contributions to women's empowerment,educational sector,social formation etc.He is a pioneer in the field of Indian Journalism.Ram Mohan Roy was born into a privileged  Hindu family on May 22,1772 in Radhanagar Village of Hooghly district in Bengal presidency.Ram Mohan Roy was born to Ramkanto Roy (Father) and Tarini devi (mother).His father was a well-heeled brahmin.His father Ramkanto Roy was a vaishnavite,whereas his mother was from a sakta (worshipper of sakti as goddess) background.They had three children.First-born was a daughter.There is no historical account of the name of her.she married to one Sridhar Mukherji,whose son Gurudas Mukherji,was closely attached to Ram Mohan Roy in the later years of his life and he was one of his first adherent. 

As per the custom of those time,Ram Mohan Roy tied the knot at the age of 9.but his wife died soon after that.He got hitched again at the age of 10.he had two sons with second wife,who died in 1824.They were Radhaprasad and Ramprasad.His eldest son,Radhaprasad was born in 1800 and youngest son,Ramprasad was born in 1812.Since his second wife died,he married for a third time and his third wife outlived him.Ram Mohan Roy married thrice in his life as his father was done.Ram Mohan Roy yearned to become a monk at the age of 14,but his mother strongly opposed the desire.Thus he threw in the towel his yearning to become a monk.

Ram Mohan Roy did schooling in Sanskrit and Bengali languages in the village school after which he was sent to madrasa in Patna where he learned the persian language and Arabic.he moved to Kashi to learn the complexity of Sanskrit and Hindu scriptures like the vedas and upanishads afterwards he completed schooling.he learned the English language at the age of 22.It is a notable thing that he learned one more foreign languages within a short period.he could understand the whole nine yards in the world as he was a multilingual person.

*2022 മാർച്ചിലെ എസ്.എസ്.എൽ.സി പരീക്ഷയുടെ ഉത്തരക്കടലാസുകളുടെ പുനർമൂല്യനിർണ്ണയം, ഫോട്ടോകോപ്പി, സ്‌ക്രൂട്ടിനി എന്നിവയ്ക്കുള്ള അപേക്ഷ ജൂൺ 16 മുതൽ 21 വരെ ഓൺലൈനായി നൽകാവുന്നതാണ്. ഫൈനൽ കൺഫെർമേഷനു ശേഷം ലഭിക്കുന്ന പ്രിൻ്റ് അപേക്ഷാ ഫീസിനൊപ്പം പരീക്ഷ എഴുതിയ സ്‌കൂളിലെ പ്രഥമാദ്ധ്യാപകന് ജൂൺ 21 വൈകുന്നേരം 5 മണിക്ക് മുൻപായി സമർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്.*
